On February 27th, the reporter learned from the relevant departments of Baiyin City that Datang Gansu Power Generation Co., Ltd. will invest about 654.38+0 billion yuan in Jingtai County to build a super-large thermal power plant with high parameters, large capacity, advanced environmental protection and energy saving. At present, Datang Company has held the project agreement and the unveiling ceremony of the preparatory office with Baiyin Municipal Government.

Jingtai Power Plant, which is about to be built, is one of the national key projects listed in the power resources planning of Gansu Province and one of the key projects in the 11th Five-Year Plan of Gansu Province. Datang Jingtai Power Plant has been officially approved by the National Development and Reform Commission. Jingtai power plant project is invested and constructed by Datang Gansu Power Generation Co., Ltd., with a total investment of 4.7 billion yuan in the first phase. The project plans to build two 600,000 kW supercritical direct air-cooled coal-fired generating units, supporting the new railway special line and 750 kV transmission project. Datang Jingtai Power Plant is the first large-scale thermal power generation project with 600,000 kilowatts supercritical direct air cooling in our province. The newly-built units are domestic thermal generating units with high parameters, large capacity, high efficiency, water saving, environmental protection and digital management. Advanced environmental protection facilities such as wet high-efficiency desulfurization device, high-efficiency electrostatic precipitator and continuous flue gas monitoring equipment will be built at the same time by using technologies such as plasma oil-free ignition, low-nitrogen combustion, dry ash removal and direct air cooling. After the completion of the project, the concentrations of pollutants such as soot, sulfur dioxide and nitrogen oxides discharged into the atmosphere completely meet the national environmental protection emission standards. The wastewater and sewage from power plants can be reused after treatment, which fully meets the requirements of "zero emission". At present, the main project is progressing smoothly, and unit 1 will be started on May 28th. The site selection of supporting ash yard, highway construction and special railway construction are progressing smoothly. After completion, the power plant will become one of the main power plants in Gansu power grid, which can effectively meet the demand for power consumption growth in the central power grid of our province, improve the structure of Gansu power grid, improve the industrial structure of Jingtai national economy and promote the development of related industries.
