Traffic lights have been useful since they were installed and put into use. If you don't obey the traffic lights, it's illegal and you will be punished.

The monitoring of red lights is public. You can see if there is any red light monitoring at the intersection. The appearance of red light operation monitoring is roughly as shown in the figure below. Because of the objective needs of shooting, it is installed in the sky a few meters behind the stop line at the intersection, and each lane has a monitoring head.
