Wuhan Library was founded in 1946 10, formerly known as "Hankou Municipal Library", and changed its name to Wuhan Library in 1953. In February 2000, it was moved to its present address (No.86 Jianshe Avenue1) and opened to the public. The study room on the first floor doesn't need documents.

It opens at 8 o'clock and closes at 9 o'clock in the evening, but you have to go early. There are many people in the morning, and people will line up before 7 o'clock.
