Aba Vocational College (formerly Sichuan Vocational College for Nationalities) is a public full-time ordinary college approved by the Sichuan Provincial People's Government and filed by the Ministry of Education. It is the first public comprehensive vocational college featuring animal husbandry, agriculture and tourism in Tibetan areas of Sichuan. The College is located in Maoxian County, an ancient city of Qiang nationality in China, with convenient transportation, 0/57km away from Chengdu/KLOC-,and its enrollment is included in the unified enrollment plan of national colleges and universities.
The planned construction land of the school is 679.4 mu, including east campus 194.9 mu, south campus 384.5 mu and Marcand campus 100 mu. The school covers an area of 263,000 ㎡, the campus building area is134,000 ㎡, the school building area is102,000 ㎡, the off-campus training base is 1000 mu, and the library has150,000 books. The college offers 13 majors, including eco-agricultural technology, animal husbandry and veterinary medicine, national performing arts, national traditional skills, tourism management, accounting, dance performance, music performance, leisure sports, primary education, preschool education, nursing and e-commerce. On February 4th, 20 18, the newly-built "Sichuan Vocational College for Nationalities" was voted by the expert review meeting of the Provincial College Establishment Review Committee.
On February 201August 14, Aba Prefecture set up a leading group and a preparatory group for the establishment of Sichuan Vocational College for Nationalities to promote the construction of the college. 2065438+On May 28th, 2008, the General Office of the Ministry of Education issued the Letter on Publishing the Record List of Colleges and Universities Implementing Specialized Education, which officially approved the record filing and obtained the enrollment code.

The majors offered by the college have unique Tibetan and Qiang ethnic characteristics.
