The school has long been equipped with diversified business, gardening and other key majors, with vocational high schools and vocational secondary schools such as diversified business, seafood processing, biotechnology, accounting, secretarial, computer, mechatronics, automobile driving and maintenance, and reserve, and more than 20 computer rooms, accounting simulation rooms, automobile maintenance rooms, locksmith rooms, botanical gardens, semi-automatic chicken farms, pig farms, and strain research institutes. There are more than 26,000 books in this library.

Focusing on education and teaching, the school pays attention to the skills training of students while teaching cultural courses and professional theory courses, and has initially formed a school-running model of "laying stress on skills, grasping development and creating characteristics". Since the reform of vocational middle schools, the school has graduated more than 2,000 students, of whom more than 300 have become "rich experts", large planters and large breeders, 130 have become the backbone of township enterprises and village residents, and 100 have been admitted to higher schools. Many students frequently win prizes in skills operation competitions such as abacus and reserve in cities and counties.
