The library reading areas on the third, fourth and fifth floors provide reading and lending services for social science books, literature books and natural science books.
Newspapers and periodicals reading room Books and newspapers in the reading room can be read indoors, but they can be copied in the library. There are 1500 newspapers and periodicals. Readers can read relevant periodicals according to their personal interests and constantly improve their knowledge structure. Readers can get all kinds of news, current affairs, reports, trends and life encyclopedias at home and abroad, inside and outside the province in time.
Special note: when readers consult books, periodicals and newspapers, they only take one at a time and put it back after reading it.
Electronic Reading Room The electronic reading room is equipped with 200 high-grade LCD computers, which mainly provides free internet access and retrieval services for 270,000 kinds of e-books such as superstar e-books, scholar e-books and Wanfang periodical database. The reader swipes the card with the library card (all-in-one card), and the system will automatically assign the telephone number and check the number. Reading room for the blind This room is specially prepared for the blind. This is the place where blind people read Braille and audiobooks. Six computers were installed in the room, and more than 300 braille books on health care, law and entertainment were purchased. At the same time, in order to facilitate "reading", learning CDs are provided for the blind. The contents of these CDs include long mystery novels, storytelling networks, radio series, massage knowledge and so on. Blind people can use a "talking mouse" to surf the Internet freely, listen to music, "watch" news and sit and learn about world events.
Children's reading area The reading area is equipped with reading tables and chairs suitable for children, and the environment layout is carefully selected and designed according to children's characteristics. There are nearly a thousand kinds of children's books in this room, which are diverse, novel and lively, and can fully stimulate children's interest in reading, and readers can choose freely.
