Among the application materials for foreign academic degree certification, there are the original and photocopy of the Certificate of Returned Overseas Students issued by Chinese embassies (consulates) abroad. In addition, if the applicant received higher education in a domestic university before going abroad and did not obtain a diploma, he must also submit a "certificate of withdrawal" issued by the university for the applicant.
The "certificate of withdrawal" must indicate that the applicant has received general (or adult) higher education (graduate or undergraduate, junior college (higher vocational)) in the university and dropped out for some reason.
