The first branch of Baoding Geophysical Exploration Center School is located in Zhuozhou City, Baoding City, Hebei Province. It is a high school directly under Baoding Education Bureau, formerly known as Petroleum Geophysical Middle School, founded in 1978. The school has always held high the banner of quality education, explored new ideas for running schools in many ways, and constantly updated its concept of running schools. Education and teaching have achieved remarkable results. It was rated as "Excellent Performance Unit" by Baoding Education Bureau, and was named as "Safety and Civilization Demonstration School" by Baoding Education Bureau in 2008.
