Nanjing is the capital city of Jiangsu Province and one of the important cities in the Yangtze River Delta. According to the scope of the Yangtze River Delta, Nanjing, as a part of Jiangsu Province, is classified as a part of the Yangtze River Delta. In the Yangtze River Delta region, Nanjing has close economic, cultural and transportation links with other cities, which has promoted the development of the Yangtze River Delta region.
