The original meaning of "autumn grain" is autumn mature grain. In his published works, Mr. Xu Yan often takes "Chou He" as the pen name, which is taken from the opening words of Su Dongpo's "Seeing and Sending in Lin Jing, Langzhong and Hekong": "Chou He is not full of eyes, and wheat seeds are scarce." .

Influenced by the spirit of introspection and self-blame of cultural philosophers who respectfully love the people and are unable to return to heaven, Mr. Xu Yan took the first word of this poem as his pen name when he graduated from college in order to protect himself.

Xu Yan, whose pen name is Chou He, is from Taicang, Jiangsu, whose ancestral home is Jingjiang, 1963, and is from Wuxian.

At present, he is a professor of Information Management Department of Nanjing University, vice chairman of Jiangsu Provincial Committee of the Revolutionary Committee, member of China Reading Research Association, member of the Steering Committee of Library Science Teaching of the Ministry of Education, academic member of library society of china and deputy director of the Reading Promotion Committee, and director of the Reading and Users Professional Committee of Jiangsu Library Society.

Character experience

1984 graduated from Peking University Library Department and was assigned to work in the State Education Commission. 1988 as the director of the higher education department. /kloc-transferred back to his hometown in the summer of 0/989, and served as editor-in-chief and editor-in-chief of Nanjing University Press, responsible for the book review studio.
