The school now has 12 teaching and research sections and 1 research centers in philosophy, economics, scientific socialism, China's * * party history, party building and party theory, law, public * * * management, business administration, foreign languages, modern science and technology, * * Communist Youth League theory and women's theory, and there are 1 research centers in the province. Master's degrees are awarded in eight disciplines: Marxist philosophy, political economy, China history (including Party theory and Party building), scientific socialism, basic principles of Marxism, ideological and political education, philosophy of science and technology, and administrative management. There are 5 provincial scientific research bases and 9 provincial societies under the school. The school has two public publications, Huxiang Forum and Journal of Hunan Administration College, and one provincial internal publication, Theory Collection, among which Huxiang Forum is the national Chinese core periodical, the core periodical of China * * * Production Party, the provincial periodical and the "Top Ten" social science periodical. With a collection of nearly 700,000 books, the library is moving towards digitalization, and a series of teaching and research databases such as theoretical information and provincial information have been initially established.
