Our kindergarten is a preschool class attached to a primary school. The characteristic of kindergarten is to do a good job of connecting children. To this end, we have set up literacy teaching. First of all, we set up a relaxed and free literacy environment. Drawing lessons from the combination of graphics and text in computer literacy law, we combine words with things. On the ceiling and wall of the kindergarten, we decorated many lifelike animals. Under each small animal, we made beautiful Chinese characters cards. Children will consciously or unconsciously understand these Chinese characters about animals while enjoying small animals.
Second, combine literacy activities with teaching activities.
Kindergarten implements thematic teaching activities. At the same time of theme teaching activities, Chinese character teaching is infiltrated. In the teaching activities with the theme of spring, we teach children Chinese characters such as "spring, spring breeze, spring rain, willow branches fluttering, flowers all over the garden", and in the teaching activities with the theme of winter, we teach children Chinese characters such as "winter, cold, heating, north wind whistling, snowflakes fluttering". In every specific activity, we teach children new Chinese characters according to the theme. For example, in the "learning address" class of common sense, we will teach children Chinese characters such as "mom, dad, grandpa, grandma, aunt, menstruation", and in the calculation class, we will teach children Chinese characters such as "plus sign, minus sign, equal sign, greater than sign and less than sign", which is not a burden for children.
Third, combine literacy with speaking to lay the foundation for children's future composition.
Children will feel bored if they can read alone. Draw lessons from the fast literacy method of "whole input, positioning association" and connect the words we want to learn with a paragraph of language, such as "today"
The weather is sunny, the wind is sunny, the willow branches are fluttering, the swallows are whispering and the birds are singing. In this passage, let children learn the Chinese character "Sunshine Singing", so that they can easily understand the meaning of Chinese characters and learn them easily. Let's go one step further and let the children say a paragraph by themselves, which must contain these Chinese characters. This stimulates children's divergent thinking and exercises their language expression ability. Once, when I was telling the children about the "bridge", a child told a short story. She said, "Once, my father bought me some goldfish in the market, and I liked them very much. I feed it eggs every day, but the little fish is still unhappy. One of them is dying. I think the little fish may be sad because it has too few friends, so put it in the river, where there are many friends. " Most children can learn Chinese characters in one paragraph. I think this kind of training will be very beneficial to children's future composition.
Fourth, the combination of literacy and games.
Games are children's main activities, and literacy in games is children's favorite way of learning. Whether it is traditional games, sports games, entertainment games, intellectual games, role games, music games, etc. , can be combined with literacy. We pay attention to the fun, competition and entertainment of the game. For example, in my spare time, I saw many children like to squat on the ground and punch cards backwards, so I thought: Why not associate these cards with Chinese characters? So, we made a lot of literacy game cards, stipulating that some words are winners. For example, today is Friday, so we stipulate that "today is Friday" is the winner. In this way, children know a lot of Chinese characters in relaxed and natural games.
Fifth, go out of the small house and go to the society to study.
Our kindergarten often leads children out of the small yard to observe society and appreciate nature. In the process of observation and appreciation, we have not forgotten to teach children to know Chinese characters. Wherever we go, we go to study. When we walked to the square, we knew the "square". When we stand in front of the factory, we know the "factory". When we came to the department store, we knew "department store". Children are also interested in this way of literacy. We also tell children not to forget to know Chinese characters if they go out to play with their parents during the holidays.
