Formerly known as Hong Kong Branch of Commercial Press, it was established in 19 14. At first, it was operated as a shop, and later a printing factory was set up, as well as an editorial department and a distribution department. It has developed into a complete publishing organization. 19 17 published Hong Kong textbooks, and 1957 published a complete set of textbooks suitable for Nanyang schools in the 1930s. After publishing textbooks, Chinese and foreign reference books, historical and cultural picture books, humanities and social sciences, it was registered as Commercial Press (Hong Kong) Co., Ltd., 1988.
