The National Outstanding Children's Literature Award, like Mao Dun Literature Award and Lu Xun Literature Award, is one of the highest literary awards in China sponsored by the Chinese Writers Association. It is the only pure literature children's literature award in China, and also the highest award for children's literature in China. Established in 1986.
