Winner of "Jinding Award", the highest book award in Taiwan Province Province, a companion piece of "Children's History of China". The illustrations in the book are historical illustrations of the National Geographic Society of the United States, and are recommended for children above grade one or two in primary school.
Children's world history.
Complete set 16 volumes, a very thick set of books. What attracts me most is that the author is old enough to jump out of China and stand on the "human stage", which is objective and fair. On the time axis, compare China with other regions, base on China and look around the world.
Like this, the volume 16 contains many such books. Usually, children may not have much time. It is suggested to take a whole summer vacation, or concentrate on reading for a month. Parents or seniors read it every day, and get a few chapters a day to gradually understand.
History of children's China
The complete set of 14 volumes is very suitable for children with a little foundation to follow the historical framework.
Since Pangu's creation, we have combed the historical context of China like listening to stories. The book is more inclined to historical events and follows the timeline.
I like the column "Rewards for Parents and Children" at the end of each chapter. Parents and children discuss these problems. What do children think?
What would you do if it were you? Stimulate children's divergent thinking and think from the standpoint of the ancients.
Recommend two sets of Chen Weiping's books to primary school students above Grade One and Grade Two, and look around the world based on China. It is worth mentioning that you must not just read a set of history books, each set of history books has its own style focus. I recommend these two sets and have shared other history books before.
