Origin: Muses are nine ancient goddesses in Greek mythology. They represent legends expressed through traditional music and dance, instant and popular songs. They are daffodils from the spring water of Lincoln Mountain. At first, when people's impression of the siren was not too bad, the muse was also attributed to the siren, because the muse was a goddess, specializing in literature and art, and was born with beauty, so her temperament was extraordinary. Later, people regarded Apollo, the sun god in the Olympus system, as their leader.
The poet hesiod said in his genealogy that they were the daughters of Zeus, the king of gods, and Moni Mosina, the goddess of memory. The poet Alkman thinks that they are older than Zeus, and they are the daughters of Uranus and Gaia.
They and the inspiration narcissus Kemini in Roman mythology.
Composition: It is generally believed that there were only three muses at the beginning: Oide (Aoide, Song, Sound), Miret (Practice, Situation) and Monniemo Sinne (Memory). These three muses reflect the poetic forms and techniques needed by ancient people to hold worship ceremonies.
Later, the muses developed into nine, and the most classic nine muses were considered as the following combinations:
* Otby (Music)
:: Carly Obi (epic)
* Cleo (history)
* erato (lyrics)
* Merbomo (tragedy)
* Polly Chana (Chant)
* Tessie Curry (Dance)
* Talia (comedy)
* Urania (astronomy)
Muse and his representative works;
These nine muses reflected the complete understanding of the art of poetry in ancient Greece, but which muse was the embodiment of which art was later defined. In the art after ancient Greece (Rome, Renaissance and neoclassicism), every muse was put together with some representative objects in sculpture and painting:
* Euterpe (Music): Flute.
* Calliope: Wordpad
* Cleo (Clio): a roll of paper and a book.
Erato: Harp and Rose Corolla.
* Melpomene: the mask of tragedy.
* Limu (hymn): generally solemn.
* Terpsichore (Dance): Dancing with the harp.
* Talia (comedy) (Talia): comedy mask.
* Urania (astronomy): celestial globe.
