What tools or software can help teachers draw the process of teaching activities?
VISIO series software is an advanced drawing software developed by Microsoft, belonging to the Office series, which can draw flow charts, network topology charts, organization charts, mechanical engineering charts, flow charts and so on. It is powerful and easy to use, just like Word. It can help network engineers to create business and technical graphics, organize and record complex concepts, processes and systems. VISIO 2003 can also automate data graphics by directly synchronizing with data resources, provide updated graphics, and customize them to meet specific needs. The upgraded VISIO 2007 provides various templates: business flow diagram, network diagram, workflow diagram, database model diagram and software diagram. These templates can be used to visualize and simplify business processes, track projects and resources, draw organizational charts, draw network charts, draw architectural charts and optimize systems.

VISIO is a powerful system software. Today, we just briefly introduce the method and essentials of making the flow chart.

First of all, every flow chart designer must install this software on his own computer before using it.

Secondly, when we open VISIO software, click "Flowchart" and find "Vertical Flowchart" to draw a flowchart.

After opening the flowchart box, first determine the flowchart name and replace the workflow at the top of the chart with the flowchart name. If the process number is determined in advance, put it before the name of the flow chart. Under the name of the flow chart, we suggest adding columns such as "preparation or design", "review", "approval" and "year, month and day" to clarify the responsibilities.

The vertical flow chart software has designed five columns of functional areas, and one column can be added or one or two columns can be reduced as needed. For "function", I suggest using the job names undertaken by processes or activities, such as general manager, financial manager, buyer, planner and other specific job names, and oppose using department names, because a department often has multiple jobs. If the responsibility is not implemented in the post, it is difficult to ensure effective implementation.

After determining the position of the process or activity, you can describe the process. It is enough for each enterprise to describe the process or activity according to its own reality. What I want to emphasize is that the beginning and end of the process cannot be described by "beginning" and "end". As for the "start", I suggest to describe it with the goal to be achieved by this process or start with the clear requirements put forward by the person in charge of this process, that is to say, make it clear from the beginning and point out the direction. As for the "end", I also suggest to summarize it with the purpose of this process, which basically echoes the requirements put forward at the beginning. Only in this way can we truly reflect the closed loop of the process.

Of course, before drawing, we must clearly understand the meaning expressed by the basic shape on the left. When we decide to use a shape, we just need to click the shape with the mouse and drag it into the flowchart box. Double-click the chart and enter a workflow or process activity in it. In order to improve efficiency, the connection between processes can be completed once the process description is completed. VISIO 2007 also has an automatic connection function.

Operating tools can only be understood by using them, and you already have the ability of process analysis and description, so I don't need to explain them too much. As long as your designer installs VISIO software and practices it several times, you should be able to use it freely.
