Daniel Defoe (English: Daniel Defoe,1May 6, 660 ——1731April 24, 2008) was an English writer in18th century. The founder of rich realistic novels in the British Enlightenment period is known as the "father of novels" in Europe, "father of British realistic novels", "father of British newspapers" and "father of modern news".
