Henan Urban Construction College is the only provincial undergraduate college in Henan Province that focuses on engineering and features "urban construction", and it is also one of the only two undergraduate colleges named after "urban construction" in China. The school was founded in 1983, formerly known as Henan Urban Construction College. In March 2002, it was upgraded to an undergraduate college with the approval of the Ministry of Education.
The school has 16 colleges, including Civil and Traffic Engineering College, Management College, Municipal and Environmental Engineering College, Architecture and Urban Planning College, Energy and Building Environment Engineering College, Surveying and Mapping and Urban Spatial Information College, Art and Design College, Computer and Data Science College, Electrical and Control Engineering College, Materials and Chemical Engineering College, Life Science and Engineering College, Mathematics and Science College, Foreign Languages College, Law School and International Education College. There are 53 undergraduate majors and 7 specialist majors, covering 8 disciplines such as engineering, management, science, literature, law and art, and enrolling students from 365, 438+0 provinces, municipalities directly under the central government and autonomous regions.
