How to find Japanese references when writing Japanese papers
The most important thing before writing a paper is to collect information. Today, I will introduce you to several practical methods of collecting information.

Before you start collecting information, remind everyone! Be sure to record the source of the information! Formal papers often require that the source of quoted sentences be marked and backed up in advance, so that there is no hurry in the process of writing papers.

I. offline search

The best way to collect information is to go to the school library. You can also ask your tutor for help and see if there are any ready-made materials to borrow.

Two. Online search

1. Website (the host station of the World Wide Web)

Besides offline, we can also use the Internet to collect information. Here are two very practical student websites.

(1) China hownet

China HowNet is the world's leading digital publishing platform and a professional website dedicated to providing knowledge and information services for all walks of life at home and abroad. The full-text articles published in more than 6,000 domestic journals and newspapers since 1994 are included.

Tips! There is a charge for downloading papers from the internet. Most schools will buy several databases. In the campus network environment, you can enter for free through the China HowNet link on the school homepage. As the situation of each school homepage is different, please consult the instructor for specific questions.

(2)CiNii JP

CiNii (pronounced "サィニィィィ") is an academic information database, including academic papers, books, periodicals and magazines, which is operated by the National Institute of Information Science of Japan. The above collected Japanese papers in various professional fields. The only drawback is that some articles need to buy a paid account to read.

Most Japanese-related papers on China HowNet are written in Chinese. This paper mainly introduces the usage of CiNii.

① Open the website with a browser.

② Many papers searched by CINII don't have electronic versions, and it's not convenient for us to borrow them in China, so we directly aim at the item "CINIIII にぁり" (full text is available on CINII).

③ Enter the keyword to be searched in the search box. Here, suppose we want to search for papers related to adverbs.

④ In addition to the title, the search page also contains a wealth of paper information.

The parts indicated by 12345 in the figure are:

1 paper title

2 paper author

3. Journals that publish papers

4 Download the information in this article

The number 4 is the key to decide whether we can download it for free. Anyone with the prefix CiNii PDF can find the original PDF on this website. A * * * has four forms:

1) Cinii PDF-ォープンァクセス: It is generally open and can be downloaded and watched for free.

2)CIN iii pdf- Quota ァクセス Possibility: Fixed viewing needs to pay a certain fee to the website every year, similar to membership, and viewing needs an annual fee.

3) CIN III PDF-informative: You need to pay a certain fee with a credit card to read this kind of paper.

4)CIN iii PDF- Unpublished: Some institutions' papers have been protected for two years, and now it is not time to publish them.

Obviously, our goal is to commemorate Sydney ·pdf-オープンアクセス. If you see something with this symbol, you can click to download it.

Tips! Cinii PDF-Quota ァクセス The possible annual fee is only 2 100 yen (about RMB 160 yuan). Students with credit cards can also register for this website to become paid members, so that they can download more information.

⑤ Click the title of the paper to enter the detailed information page of the paper.

2. Search skills

(1) It is recommended to use the Japanese homepages of major search engines to search for Japanese materials, such as:

Google Japan

Yahoo Japan

Bing JP

(2) Make good use of the "advanced search" function of search engines.

Finding the information we want in the massive search results is like looking for a needle in a haystack. Using some skills can filter the search results and effectively improve the search efficiency.

①+(plus sign)

"Black tea+green tea" means searching for pages that contain all the phrases "black tea" and "green tea". Or a simpler method, you can add a space between two keywords.

②-(minus sign)

"-"can remove irrelevant search results and improve the relevance of search results. For example, you are looking for information about "black tea" but many results are "black tea" and "green tea". Enter the "Qingdao-Beer" search, and no beer will bother you anymore.

③ ""(quotation marks)

Use double quotation marks to query websites that exactly match keyword strings. For example, if you type "Bushido", you will find a page containing the complete phrase "Bushido".

Last but not least, when quoting other people's information, be sure to indicate the source! Especially when quoting sentences from other people's papers intact, it is best to indicate them, otherwise they may be considered plagiarism.
