How to calculate the overdue borrowing of books in Shanghai Library?
If the book is returned after the deadline, the overdue fee shall be paid according to 0.2 yuan/book per day.

Attachment: general borrowing instructions of Shanghai Library:

1. To enter the Chinese books and periodicals borrowing room, you must show a valid reader's card with general borrowing function.

2. Each card can borrow at most 10 books or periodicals for 28 days and can be renewed once. If the book is returned after the deadline, the overdue fee shall be paid according to 0.2 yuan/book per day. Readers who hold overdue books or fail to pay overdue fees cannot continue to borrow books. Readers need to return overdue books and pay overdue fees before they can continue to borrow books.

Please check the books and periodicals carefully when borrowing. If there are any damaged or missing pages, please explain them to the staff and deal with them technically. Please pay attention if the book is stamped with the words "book with disk". Please take good care of the borrowed books and periodicals and attached CDs (lost or damaged, each 5 yuan), and do not tear, deface, cross, alter or replace the pages. Books and periodicals shall not be taken out of the room without going through the borrowing formalities, and offenders shall be dealt with according to the Regulations on Compensation for Books and Periodicals.

Please keep the reader's card. If it is accidentally lost, it should be reported to the registry in time. Otherwise, the losses caused by this shall be borne by the readers themselves.

5. If you want to return the card, the reader must go through the formalities of returning the card with ID card, reader's card and deposit certificate, get the deposit, and the registration office will take back the reader's card. In addition to the above documents, those who refund the deposit must also show their ID cards.

6. Disabled people, people over 70 years old and other readers with special circumstances must write a certificate of entrustment if they want to borrow. When borrowing, the trustee must show his ID card, reader's card and the client's entrustment certificate.
