Luoyang Education Bureau released: At present, the second batch of high school relocation in Luoyang is progressing in an orderly manner. Luo Yang No.9 Senior High School (formerly No.9 Middle School) and Luo Yang No.11 Senior High School (formerly No.46 Middle School) will be integrated and relocated to the newly-built Luo Yi Senior High School in Yibin District. It is planned that after the ninth senior high school in Luoyang moves out, the thirteenth senior high school in Luoyang will integrate the campus of the ninth senior high school (formerly the ninth middle school) and form a school.
The first seven high schools to be relocated include: Luoyang Foreign Language School, Senior High School affiliated to Luoyang Normal University, Luo No.2 Middle School (formerly No.2 Middle School), Luo No.3 Middle School (formerly No.3 Middle School), Luo No.8 Middle School (formerly No.8 Middle School), Luo No.5 Middle School (formerly No.19 Middle School) and Luoyang Experimental High School (formerly No.2 Experimental Middle School). These seven relocated high schools will be delivered in August this year; As a boarding high school, the bus will be put into trial operation before the end of August 2023 and fully put into operation in early June 2023.
There are 6 senior high school students' dormitories, equipped with balconies (bathrooms). The building area of the rooms is about 25~28 square meters, mainly considering students' rest, and providing self-study and reading space appropriately.
The second batch of three high schools will be relocated as soon as possible, and the 10 municipal high school that has not been relocated will also be upgraded to a high standard. On February 2nd, the fifth special press conference of Luoyang's "Implementation of Key People's Livelihood Projects in 2022" series-"Promoting the High-quality and Balanced Development of Basic Education in Urban and Rural Areas" made it clear that Luoyang will invest about 250 million yuan to upgrade eight schools, namely, Luoyigao, the Middle School Attached to Science and Technology, the Middle School Attached to HKUST, Luosigao, Luoliugao, Luoshigao, Luoshigao and Luoshigao.
The key points of upgrading and transformation are mainly boarding conditions, restaurants and canteens, and sports venues.
