Ju 'nan County is located in the east of Linyi City, and its geographical coordinates are118 33' 29 "-119 06' 06", and 35 00'15 "-35 23" north latitude. It is adjacent to Lingang Industrial Zone in Linyi City in the east, Lianyungang City in Jiangsu Province in the south, Hedong District in Linyi City in the west and Juxian County in Rizhao City in the north. In the Western Zhou Dynasty, Junan belonged to Guo Xiang. In the Eastern Zhou Dynasty, Xiangguo was destroyed by the State of Ju, and the area of Junan belonged to the State of Ju. During the Qin dynasty, the state of Ju was placed in Juxian and Langya counties. In the Western Han Dynasty, it belonged to Gaoxiang County and Langya County, the secretariat of Xuzhou. In the Eastern Han Dynasty, the county was changed to a state, and it belonged to Juxian County of Langya Prefecture and Xuzhou Secretariat Department.
During the Cao Wei period, the central and eastern parts of Junan belonged to Juxian County, Chengyang County and Qingzhou, and the narrow areas on both sides of Shuhe River in the west (namely, Wang Jiagou Township, Shi Lian Lianhua Township, Daokou Township, Liujiazhuang Township, Fangguan Township, Xianggou Township and Banquan Town) belonged to Xuzhou Kaiyang (now Linyi City).
In the Western Jin Dynasty, Juxian County, Dongguan County, Xuzhou belonged to Junan area, and the west of Shuhe River belonged to Kaiyang County, Langya Prefecture, Xuzhou.
