The 2005 edition of People's Republic of China (PRC) Pharmacopoeia, compiled by the National Pharmacopoeia Committee, was recently listed in Xinhua Bookstore. People's Republic of China (PRC) Pharmacopoeia 2005 is divided into three parts, each of which is a volume. Among them, 1 part contains 1 146 kinds of medicinal materials and decoction pieces, vegetable oils and extracts, prescription preparations and single-flavor preparations, and 98 appendices; Part 2 contains 1967 chemicals, antibiotics, biochemical drugs, radioactive drugs and pharmaceutical excipients, and 137 appendices; Part 3 contains 10 1 biological products and 140 appendices. The third part, for the first time, the regulations of biological products in China were included in the Pharmacopoeia.
