197 1 year, an editorial team composed of 36 units including Beijing Library (now the National Library of China) began to compile. The trial version was compiled in 1973, and the 1 version was published by Science and Technology Literature Publishing House in 1975.
1979 In July, the Editorial Committee of China Library Classification was established to revise it. 1June 1980, Bibliographic Literature Publishing House published the second edition, and1June 1990 published the third edition.
