The art major is offered by the University of Glasgow in cooperation with the Glasgow School of Art, and the degree course is awarded by the University of Glasgow. Glasgow College of Art and University of Glasgow (﹙GSA﹚) Glasgow College of Art has a total of 26 master's programs, all of which will eventually receive degree certificates issued by Glasgow University.

In addition to Glasgow University, GSA also has a cooperative relationship with Edinburgh University. Some majors are jointly taught by two universities, such as product design engineering.
