China writer Ba Jin's novel Home is the first part of Riptide Trilogy, and the other two are Spring and Autumn. It was first serialized by 193 1 in The Times, and the original article was titled Riptide. Ming Kai Bookstore published the first booklet of Home in May, 1933.

The novel describes the sin and decay of a big feudal family in Chengdu, Sichuan in the early 1920s, accuses the feudal system of destroying life, and praises the anti-feudal struggle and the awakening of democracy of the younger generation.

2. Cold nights

Cold Night is a novel written by modern writer Ba Jin, which was created at the end of 1946 and published at 1947. Cold Night is set in Chongqing, the capital of the Anti-Japanese War, and revolves around the contradiction among Wang Wenxuan, Zeng Shusheng and Wang Mu.

4. Love Trilogy

Love trilogy is a book published by People's Publishing House in June, 1988. This book is one of Ba Jin's novel series, including Fog, Rain and Electricity.

5. The Dead Sun

The Dead Sun is set in the tragedy of May 30th. The protagonist Wu witnessed the massacre on Nanjing Road. His blood was boiling and he was filled with indignation. He was appointed by the Shanghai Student Union to Nanjing for activities. Workers and students in Nanjing went on strike hand in hand. He met Cheng Qingfen, a childhood friend, at the Nanjing Diplomatic Support Conference. After seven years of separation, Cheng got engaged to someone else. Only after this reunion did they find that they loved each other deeply.

Pain died in a melancholy way, but Wu survived the emotional waves. The workers educated him, and the revolutionary Wang Xueli's spirit of sacrifice touched him, and he matured in the actual struggle. He felt that Wang Xueli was not dead. He was just a dead sun. "It will still rise with the dawn of the next day and shine the world with its new brilliance.".
