The English name of the original author of ·R·R· and Ice is George Raymond Richard Martin. Fire and Ice mainly describes a series of stories of court struggles, battles, adventures and magical confrontation in a fictional medieval world. In content and style, Fire and Ice is a mirror of real life and a true portrayal of human nature.

The first volume of this series is published by American Board Corner Book Company, beginning with 1996. This book is planned to have seven volumes. By the end of 20 14, five volumes had been published and translated into more than 30 languages.

Theme of the work

"Ice" and "fire" are to highlight the significance of human struggle. There are countless characters in the book, but heroism, dedication or cunning conspiracy are not highlighted in isolation. But from the perspective of "imitation" and POV (point of view), it depicts the different situations and choices of characters in the whirlpool of that particular era, including heroes and vulnerable groups.
