2. Chengde Medical College is a general medical undergraduate college affiliated to Hebei provincial government. Chengde Medical College, founded in 1945, is a provincial institution of higher learning in Hebei Province and a pilot institution of "Excellent Doctor Education and Training Program". As of May 20 16, the campus covers an area of 749,000 square meters, with total fixed assets of 700 million yuan. The library covers an area of nearly 1.9 million square meters and has nearly 700,000 books.
