Zhong Yanxian Library of Guangzhou University of Commerce was founded in 1998, and the new library was completed in September 2006. The library building is five stories high, with a construction area of 1.7 million square meters. As the document information center of the school, the library adheres to the working concept of "readers first, serving and educating people" and provides document information services for talent training, teaching and scientific research and discipline construction of the school.

There are more than 2.8 million paper books, e-books110000, e-journals and dissertations 14000, e-resource database 18 (including local mirror databases), 374 paper periodicals and 27 newspapers.

The library consists of seven business departments: office, resource construction department, information technology department, resource service department, reading promotion department, subject service department and file management department. Working hours are 96 hours per week. Each reading area is equipped with central air conditioning, direct drinking water system and leisure sofa, which provides readers with an excellent and comfortable learning environment.
