Tang Yao (also known as Emperor Yao), surnamed Fang Xun (now Linfen, Shanxi) in ancient Chinese, was the leader of the League of Nations in ancient China and his son, one of the "Five Emperors". Seventy years later, Yao Lao and Shun succeeded to the throne. Twenty-eight years later, Yao abdicated and died, and was buried in Gulin (Juancheng County, Shandong Province).
