Hanbin Senior High School is a provincial key middle school. The school was founded in 194 1, formerly known as Ankang County Middle School. After liberation, it was renamed as County No.1 Middle School, Xicheng Middle School, Yonghong Middle School, Ankang No.1 Middle School and Hanbin No.1 Middle School, and it was renamed as its current name in 2002. The school has 62 classes, with more than 4,000 students and 0/90 faculty members. Among them, party member 100, 99 with intermediate titles and 40 with senior titles. Among young and middle-aged teachers, there are 2 national excellent teachers, provincial model workers 1 person, 3 national teaching backbones, 2 special-grade teachers, 5 provincial teaching experts and backbone teachers1person, and 37 municipal teaching experts and backbones. The school covers an area of 48 mu, with a building area of 2 1500 square meters. Based on the modernization of teaching methods, the school has well-equipped laboratories, computer rooms, language labs and multimedia classrooms, and has well-functioning computer networks, closed-circuit television networks, broadcasting networks and program-controlled telephone networks.
