Can a woman with a history of public security punishment marry a policeman?
A woman with a history of public security punishment can marry a policeman, and there is no provision against such marriage in the Marriage Law.

In any of the following circumstances, the marriage registration authority shall not register the marriage:

Below the legal age for marriage;

(2) Involuntary;

(3) One or both parties have spouses;

(4) Belonging to lineal blood relatives or collateral blood relatives within three generations;

(five) suffering from diseases that are medically considered unsuitable for marriage.

The following elements shall be recognized as essential elements of marriage as stipulated in the Marriage Law:

1. Both spouses must get married completely voluntarily;

2. Both spouses must reach legal age;

3. The husband and wife are not lineal blood relatives or collateral blood relatives within three generations;

4. Both husband and wife have no diseases that are medically considered unsuitable for marriage.
