ChangshaUniversity, referred to as "Grown-up" for short, is a full-time undergraduate college approved by the People's Republic of China and the Ministry of Education. It is a "double first-class" high-level application-oriented university in Hunan Province, and was selected as the first batch of new engineering research and practice projects of the Ministry of Education, Hunan Province 20 1658. The school-running of Changsha University originated from 1970 Changsha Revolutionary Committee Teacher Training Class, 1978 Changsha Xiangjiang Normal School Specialized Class, 1979 Changsha Basic University, Hunan Province, 1983 Changsha University. 1986, Changsha Basic University in Hunan Province was renamed Changsha Vocational and Technical Teachers College. 1994, Changsha Xiangjiang Teachers College merged into Changsha Vocational and Technical Teachers College; 65438-0996 Changsha Vocational and Technical Teachers College merged into Changsha University. In 2004, Changsha University was upgraded to an undergraduate course and renamed Changsha College.
