Who is Chen?
Not long ago, "Growing Up-Chen Piano Solo Concert" was held in the lecture hall of Changshu Library. Changshu's "Piano Prince" Chen's slender fingers played a beautiful melody on the black and white keys, and his affectionate performance intoxicated all those who listened to him.

I like the voice of growing up.

Chen, the "piano prince" who came out of Changshu, is currently studying at the National Tchaikovsky Conservatory of Music in Ukraine. In 2007, he won the fifth place in the third Tbilisi International Youth Piano Competition, becoming the first Changshu native to win an award in the international piano competition. He said, "Changshu is where my musical dream took off. I have always wanted to dedicate my blessed piano sound to my hometown, and I also want to use it to report my seven-year study in Ukraine. "

The concert that night was packed, and many parents brought their children to enjoy it, hoping to have a close communication with Chen. With his unique musical talent and distinctive personality, Chen performed the classic works of Mozart, scriabin, Tchaikovsky and Chopin. The music flowing between the keys is sometimes quiet and serene, and sometimes unstoppable ... Chen's infatuated manner, vigorous and powerful playing movements and gorgeous and skillful playing skills make the audience deeply intoxicated, and the beautiful melody leads the audience into a wonderful musical realm. At the end of each song, the applause thundered and the wonderful performance conquered all the audience. Chen's "fans" also ran onto the stage, presented flowers to him, and even someone handed a note to invite Chen to perform in Tian. In order to thank the audience for their hospitality, Chen added a song "The Day of Turning Over". According to experts, Chen's piano skills are not the top professional level, but he can compete with domestic senior piano players.

Childhood accompanied by piano sound

Chen was born in 199 1, and spent his childhood in the beautiful scenery of Changshu Lake. The beautiful scenery in the south of the Yangtze River and the charm of the water town are the earliest sources of inspiration for Chen's music. At the age of five, Chen pressed the first note of his life on a Strauss piano, sowing the seeds of his musical dream. His mother, Chen Qiongyu, was the first teacher in his life. From the beginning, she had high hopes for her son and nicknamed him "Longlong", hoping that he would have a future and become an excellent pianist. From the day when Chen began to learn piano, Chen Qiongyu gave up her job and accompanied him for many years. It was not until Chen was admitted to the Ukrainian Conservatory of Music that Chen Qiongyu returned to his old job and became the manager of Longying Advertising Company.

Chen was smart, lively and naive in childhood. He is a good boy that everyone likes. But he is very naughty and playful, just like other children of his age. In order to play the piano, Chen gave up a lot of playing time and childhood fun and studied hard all day. Every morning, under the urging of his mother, he gets up early and sits on the piano bench, repeating every note over and over again, and practicing the piano every day, whether on weekends or in winter and summer vacations. To this end, Chen experienced the same "pain" as all piano children. Sometimes, he cried while playing the piano, and he felt very distressed to be with his mother, but he still said, "Longlong was born to play the piano and is always the best" and encouraged him to "persist, persist and persist".

Chen is lucky. He met good teachers at every stage of his study. They guided Chen Yi to grow up step by step.

Teacher Gan Jinyun of Changshu Jinling Kindergarten is Chen's first piano teacher. 1995 When Chen was studying in the kindergarten of Central Primary School, his mother asked him to learn piano with Mr. Gan. Teacher Gan's rigorous, careful and patient education method led Chen into the door of music. But not long after, Mr. Gan returned to his hometown of Shanghai.

After Mr. Gan left, Chen Qiongyu invited a teacher from this province for his son. At that time, Mr. Zhang Quan had just graduated from university. He has rich musical talent, which played a very important role in Chen's later musical career. Teacher Zhang found that when Chen plays the piano, he touches the keys very delicately and sensitively, and he has a strong ability to read and recognize music. He is a good young man studying piano. But how to guide this clever and naughty child is really a difficult problem for Mr. Zhang, who just left school. Once, Mr. Zhang showed Chen piano music and asked him to practice on the piano by himself. The playful teacher Chen slipped out to play while not paying attention. Mom found out and chased him out. She grabbed Chen and told him to go back to practice. Unexpectedly, Chen sat down on the ground and began to cry. At that time, Mr. Zhang was young and wanted to reprimand him or give him a good beating, but when he thought calmly, he felt that he could not do this, so he said to Chen, "Long Long, let's play a game together." Chen He stopped crying after playing for a while. Under the guidance of his mother and teacher, he was coaxed back to the piano room. Mr. Zhang constantly cultivated his interest in piano, and Chen Ye gradually fell in love with Mr. Zhang and piano. The longer he sits on the piano bench, the more beautiful the piano sounds. With teacher Zhang's careful training, Chen's piano test grade soon reached Grade 7.

From 65438 to 0998, Chen's father went to Nanning, Guangxi to invest and do business. In order to let my son learn the piano well, the whole family came to Guangxi from Changshu. This summer, Chen passed the primary school affiliated to Nanning Normal University in Guangxi with excellent results. By chance, Professor Jin Enhui, director of the Music Department of Guangxi Arts University and graduate tutor, discovered this child with great musical talent, and he began to receive orthodox and complete piano professional training under the guidance of Mr. Jin.

Teacher Jin's home can be described as "the home of music". Her husband Yang is a national first-class film composer and enjoys a high reputation at home and abroad. He used to be the deputy director of Guangxi Film Studio and the vice president of Guangxi Art College. In 2005, he won the China Film Music Special Contribution Award. Daughter Yang Lingyun is currently an associate professor of piano at South China Normal University in Guangzhou, and her son is now studying in the United States after graduating from Wuhan Conservatory of Music. Professor Jin Enhui is currently the president of Guangxi Piano Society. He has won "Excellent Tutor Award" and "Guangxi Outstanding Female Talent Award" for many times. As music educators, Jin Enhui and his wife enjoy a high reputation in the local area, but their educational methods are different. Teacher Jin is strict, while Yang is gentle and persuasive. Once, Chen practiced playing the piano in the field. Teacher Jin thought he couldn't play well, so he gave him a lesson and made him cry at once. At this time, Uncle Yang came over, picked up Longlong and coaxed him to say, "Longlong is very good and obedient. Look how beautiful the fingers of Longlong are. Slim fingers are pianist's material. Longlong wronged these hands without playing the piano. You play better than your brothers and sisters! " After listening to Uncle Yang's words, Chen played the piano again, adding a persistent pursuit of his musical dream.

Under the careful care and guidance of Mr. Jin and Uncle Yang, in 2002, Chen passed the National Tchaikovsky Conservatory of Music in Ukraine, which brought him closer to his music dream.

Studying in Ukraine

Tchaikovsky National Conservatory of Music is the best institution of higher learning in Ukraine. World-famous tutors and musicians are gathered here, which is famous for its long history and rigorous teaching. Since the establishment of the college, many talented musicians, performers, composers and famous scholars have been trained. Tchaikovsky National Conservatory of Music has thus become a world-renowned first-class conservatory of music.

In 2002, Chen, aged 1 1, stood out from many candidates in the whole country and became the youngest among the 20 lucky people who were admitted to the National Tchaikovsky Conservatory of Music in Ukraine. An internationally renowned pianist and educator is one of the judges of this exam. He likes Chen, who is smart and lively. When CCTV Education Channel recorded the live program, he sat on himself with Chen in his arms and participated in the recorded program of TV station together. He said to the host, "This child is really cute. He plays well and has potential. I will take him to Ukraine, and he will become a famous performer in ten years. "

With his dream of music, Chen came to distant Ukraine alone and began his study abroad life. At first, he felt isolated and cried almost every night. The students who live in the same building with him will hear Chen's crying and wake up the students in the whole building. Once in the middle of the night, Chen ran downstairs and dialed his mother's phone with a public phone. He cried and said to his mother, "Mom, come and help me ..." Hearing this, her mother pleaded with tears, "How can I ask her to save you now? If the plane flies here right away, it will take 10 hour. It takes 1 month if you get a passport. You only have time. Chen put the phone down and ran back to the dormitory to cry. Holding a Disney toy brought from China, he cried and chanted "Save myself, save myself" and fell asleep slowly.

In the face of Chen's predicament, he can only save himself. At that time, Russian was the common language of Ukraine. In just three months, Chen learned more than 65,438+000 words, learned some daily expressions, and basically passed the language barrier. But sometimes the locals still don't understand him, so he usually doesn't go to small shops for this. He went to the supermarket and took it directly from the shelf. Later, when I became familiar with Russian, I went to a nearby shop to buy things.

In Ukraine, bread and butter are the main foods, as well as raw and cold foods. Chen is not used to it. He has just been to Ukraine for nearly a year and often goes to class hungry. Some of the students who went to study in China with Chen, accompanied by their parents, returned from school to their rented places to eat a meal cooked by their parents on weekends, and sometimes they took Chen with them. When Chen met his classmates' parents, he called them "auntie" and "good woman", with a sweet mouth. His purpose is to "cheat" a meal and cheat a delicious meal. Once, a classmate brought hot sauce from China, and he also "cheated" to eat a lot, and his face was covered with acne.

Among the 20 international students who went to Ukraine together, some couldn't adapt to life, some couldn't keep up with their studies, and nearly half returned to China halfway, while Chen, the youngest, gritted his teeth and persisted. 1 year later, the professional teacher said to him, "The 10 classmate who just started piano lessons is much taller than you. Now you have caught up with them. You will spend more time studying professional courses in the future, and I believe you will be much taller than them. "

Win an international competition

The unique learning conditions in Ukraine make Chen feel at home. In this international conservatory of music, many teachers are world-class performers, and there are often world-class musicians and symphony orchestras to hold various exchange activities there. Chen studied under Abenava and studied classical piano. The teacher and his wife are internationally renowned pianists and educators, and Yin Chengzong are classmates of Moscow Chai College. Teachers with rich educational experience brought Chen into the free kingdom of classical music and broadened his musical horizons. The relaxed and free music education in Ukraine has taught him to think, choose and pursue for himself.

Teachers in Ukraine believe that playing the piano as a child requires solid and systematic study, and should start from the perspective of music and understanding, rather than simple imitation. Maybe it's the difference between eastern and western cultures. Sometimes the teacher has the teacher's understanding, and Chen also has his opinion. Once, his teacher Abenava solemnly told Chen that you 16 years old, it's time to talk about a love, otherwise you can't appreciate and understand some connotations in music, especially about love. Chen was surprised. In China, falling in love at the age of 16 is puppy love, which will definitely be regarded as a big problem by teachers and parents. He thinks music is also an inspiration. Understanding music and love can be achieved through association and imagination. For example, the feelings of parents and teachers are all inclusive feelings. The beautiful mountains and rivers of nature, the feeling of mountains and the feeling of the sea can also be integrated. Influenced by China's traditional culture, Chen has never tried to fall in love. He thinks the piano is his favorite, and he is just immersed in the world of music.

In Ukraine, Chen devoted all his energy and time to practicing the piano. In addition to playing the prescribed four or five hours a day, he often borrows keys from his classmates and goes to other piano rooms to practice. Chopin studied etudes in the field for half a month, but in order to master them skillfully, he practiced for a whole year. Sometimes he practices 10 from 4 pm and forgets to eat. He usually reads the works of famous classical pianists, laying a solid foundation for learning classical piano. In a few short years in Ukraine, Chen has made great progress in classical piano playing skills, understanding of works and expression of music.

Plum blossom fragrance comes from bitter cold. After five years of hard training in Ukraine, in 2007, 16-year-old Chen won the fifth place in the third Tbilisi International Youth Piano Competition held in Croatia. The president of Chai Yuan shook Chen's hand and said, "I only know that you are the most potential student in China. I didn't expect you to play the piano so well! " The Croatian ambassador to China, Mrs. Chen Hefu, also congratulated him and presented a T-shirt with the Olympic logo and Fuwa pattern, and took a group photo with him.

With his perseverance and sweat, Chen proved the strength of China people in international competitions and realized his musical dream. For him, piano music has a long way to go, and there is still a long way to go and climb. He said confidently, "I will get better results in the Holovitz International Piano Competition next year. In a few years, I will definitely become the best student among China students studying in Ukraine! "
