Zhenxiong No.1 Middle School, formerly known as "Zhenxiongzhou Middle School", was founded in March of 19 10. Among the graduates, 3,929 were admitted to institutions of higher learning, some outstanding students were admitted to universities directly under the central government such as Tsinghua University and Peking University, and more than 200 students were admitted to graduate schools of 56 national key universities to pursue master's and doctoral degrees.
