Sichuan University Library consists of four branches, namely:

Library of Arts and Sciences: Located in the east area of Wangjiang Campus, with an area of10.6 million square meters, its collections are mainly social sciences and natural sciences, and some engineering and technical documents. Among them, China ancient history, China ancient literature, China ancient philology, China history, religion, Sichuan local literature, South Asian studies, mathematics, biology, economics and other disciplines have collection advantages.

Collect 300,000 volumes of thread-bound ancient books, including the Song and Yuan editions and various manuscripts and manuscripts since the Tang Dynasty; There are a large number of books published during the War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression period and newspapers and periodicals before the founding of the People's Republic of China.

Engineering Library: Located in the west of Wangjiang Campus, with an area of10.3 million square meters, the collection is mainly scientific and technological documents, forming the literature characteristics of energy, materials, chemistry, chemical engineering, water resources and other disciplines, especially polymer materials science, leather science and engineering documents.

Medical Library: Located in West China Campus, with an area of 8,800 square meters, its collection is mainly medical literature, forming a characteristic system in line with the "bio-psychological-social medicine" model, among which the collection advantage in stomatology literature is particularly prominent.

Jiang 'an Library: Located in Jiang 'an Campus, with an area of 25,300 square meters, the collection of books is basically complete. Implement a reader-centered service model of "integrating collection, lending, reading and inquiry".
