1936 studied in the Chinese Department of National Sichuan University, and stayed as a teaching assistant in the Chinese Department of Sichuan University after graduation. The monograph "A Brief History of China Literature" won the second prize of Sichuan philosophy and social science research achievement 1984, "Zhaoming Selected Works and Lectures" won the honorary prize of Sichuan philosophy and social science research achievement 1990, "Introduction to Selected Works" won the honorary prize of Sichuan Book Award, China Academy of Sciences won the outstanding achievement award during the Eighth Five-Year Plan period, and Notes on Chinese Poetry won the third book award.
