Xingtai Library is a municipal comprehensive public library established by the government. It is a non-profit cultural institution that provides literature lending, network and knowledge consulting services to the public. It is also a collection center of literature resources, a bibliographic center and a research center for cooperation and business exchange in the city's libraries. It mainly undertakes the functions of centralized collection of literature information, quality training for residents and social education.

After years of literature construction, by the end of 20 12, Xingtai Library had collected more than 206,000 paper documents, including 0/40,000 ordinary Chinese books, 50,000 and 60,000 bound newspapers and periodicals, and a few ancient books and foreign books. 20 13 ordered 669 newspapers and periodicals.
