Chang 'an University Library was formed in April, 2000 by merging Xi 'an Highway Jiaotong University Library, Xi Institute of Technology Library and Northwest Institute of Civil Engineering and Architecture Library. At present, it is a member unit of library society of china, the sci-tech novelty retrieval workstation of the Ministry of Education, the deputy director of the Graphic Work Committee of colleges and universities in Shaanxi Province, the governing unit of Shanxi Library Society, the member unit of CALIS, and the deputy director unit of the national information network of architectural colleges and universities.
