How to arrange space for the renovation of old houses?
"The space layout is reasonable and the life is comfortable."

explain

Of course, when I bought my favorite house, I was full of joy and thought about what to put everywhere, but the fact is often that there is not enough space here, or things can't be put there, and the floor plan doesn't know where to start, which makes people very upset, so Brother Shui brings you a guide to the decoration of the floor plan. As long as you master the rules, you will be able to arrange a beautiful and reasonable plane layout!

Take this apartment as an example: a large apartment with three bedrooms, two living rooms, two bathrooms and one kitchen. There is nothing wrong with the apartment. Let's look at the basic layout method.

0 1

The layout of the living room

The basic furniture of the living room is: sofa, coffee table, TV cabinet and TV set, as shown in the figure:

There is no big skill in the layout of the living room, just master three dimensions and 1 minute:

(1) size

1, viewing distance of TV. Generally, it is required that there is a comfortable distance between the sofa and the TV in the living room, and there is an ergonomic standard:

Basically, within the range shown in this table, you can achieve the ideal viewing effect, and you will not be too far away to see clearly, nor will you be too close to affect the viewing quality.

2. The size of the sofa. Should be arranged according to the area of the whole living room. Too big living room with too small sofa, or on the contrary, will give people a bad impression, so you have to adjust the size of the sofa yourself, but remember, you can't adjust it at will. Generally speaking, the depth of sofa seat should not be less than 55cm, and the width of single seat should not be less than 65cm.

3, the size of the TV cabinet. It should not be too long, and it is generally suitable between 1.5m-2m.

(2) Key points

The placement of the sofa must not affect the moving line, including the placement of single person sofa on the side and the orientation of the sofa. Generally, the orientation of the sofa should be back to the entrance door or porch. If there is a door in the TV background wall and you can't handle it, you can consider turning it.

02

The layout of the room

Rooms can generally be divided into bedrooms and study rooms. This study is relatively simple. Let's talk about the layout of the bedroom first, and then talk about it behind the study. Generally speaking, the basic configuration of a bedroom includes a bed, wardrobe, TV cabinet, TV, dresser or computer desk. Some rooms with enough space may also have bathrooms and walk-in wardrobes.

(1) Bed placement

Beginners often make mistakes (Figure 2 below): They will put the bedside where they enter the door. First of all, this affects the moving line of the room, causing confusion in the route of the room.

Thirdly, the bedroom is a relatively private space and the bed is a private place. How can you be comfortable when you see people lying in bed when you enter the door? This is a very basic mistake, but it is easy to make. Of course, there is no absolute thing in the world, and sometimes we can only be helpless. In that special situation, you need to improvise, but you must avoid this problem if you can avoid it!

(2) Placement of wardrobe

As shown below, wardrobes are generally set on the nearest wall of the porch, including walk-in wardrobes, because there is generally no window shelter here, and it is beside the bed, which will not affect the moving line of the whole room.

Another situation is that there is not enough space (horizontal distance) to make a wardrobe, or some self-built houses have windows or bathroom doors there. At this time, we can set the wardrobe at the end of the bed, as shown below.

At this time, you can make an embedded TV cabinet, and the effect is probably like this.

(3) Placement of dressing table and desk

Beds, wardrobes and TV cabinets are ready, and the remaining space is generally small. Dressers and desks can be placed flexibly, but remember, don't put your back to the light source or face it.

Kitchen layout

Although the open kitchen is favored by many people because of its petty bourgeoisie, space saving and emotional appeal. But in most areas, the setting of open kitchen will greatly affect the environment of other spaces. Therefore, you should consider the actual situation according to your own preferences, and only discuss the layout of ordinary enclosed kitchens here. Here you can refer to the experience "perhaps the most detailed cabinet customization strategy in history!" ! ! 》。

(a) Setting of cabinets

Generally, there are several types of cabinets, such as U-type, L-type, straight type and island type. Please refer to the experience "How to choose a cabinet layout? ".It can be adjusted according to the situation, but generally, at least 1.2m space should be reserved for basic operation after the cabinets are put away. Many people reduce the width of cabinets because the kitchen space is relatively small, which is not good. Remember that the width of the cabinet should generally be 55cm to 60cm. Under special circumstances, you can add a narrow bottom cabinet, but generally it can't be less than 35cm, otherwise it will lose its function and significance as a cabinet.

(2) Setting of cookers, refrigerators and sinks

Ideally, the refrigerator, sink and cooker are connected in turn, just forming a triangular moving line, and the sink is generally set in the middle, as shown in the figure.

The sink is generally required to be placed under the window, the cooker should be arranged according to the position of the flue, and the refrigerator can be arranged at the end of the remaining triangle. It should be noted here that a section of cabinet should be reserved between the sink and the cooker as a cutting table.

Other kitchen utensils should be placed flexibly, but it is best to put them on the spare cabinet between the refrigerator and the sink in order. By the way, there should be more sockets on the cabinet, just in case.

Bathroom layout

Toilets are generally equipped with washbasins, toilets or squats, washing machines and shower rooms. Here you can refer to the experience "The Complete Book of Bathroom Decoration Regrets".

(1) shower room

Shower room is generally located in the innermost or corner of the bathroom, with a minimum size of 80cm*80cm. As shown above, a straight shower room will be more comfortable, generally 1.2m wide is enough. Shower rooms also have two types: open doors and sliding doors, which can be freely selected according to needs, but customers are generally advised to make sliding doors.

(2) Wash basin

The washbasin is generally set near the door, because the washbasin is commonly used in the bathroom and is convenient to use outside. What needs to be noted here is that the washbasin is best not to be set opposite the door, and it is not a good design from both feng shui and psychology.

(3) Toilets and washing machines

Toilets and washing machines can be placed flexibly, but it is best to leave a use distance of more than 75cm around the toilet. If there is enough space, you can also set up a laundry table in the bathroom. If there is no room in the bathroom, the washing machine can also be set on the balcony. Here you can refer to the experience "Can the washing machine not be put into the bathroom? See what others do.

Layout of research

Compared with other spaces, there are not many rules in the layout of the study. Just remember a few key points.

The key is the placement of desks and bookcases: desks should not be placed with their backs to the light source or facing the light source, nor should they be facing the door. The main bookcase should be placed behind the desk for easy access to information. Moreover, the study often serves as a temporary room, with a folding sofa bed, which is very convenient to sit on for a nap at ordinary times.
