In the development process of nearly a hundred years, Tsinghua University Library has accumulated many characteristic collections, including:

ancient books

There are more than 28,000 kinds of ancient books in China and 230,000 volumes in the library, including 1885 kinds of ancient books in China and 425 kinds of rare books. These ancient books are excellent in arts and sciences and salty in four books, which have certain influence in the field of ancient books at home and abroad.

Tsinghua library

Mainly collect the personal academic works of Tsinghua scholars (including teachers, staff and former alumni who have worked in Tsinghua); Tsinghua's internal or external publications such as the school magazine since its founding, as well as various books and materials about Tsinghua people, events, history, etc.

Tsinghua University degree library

Including some graduation theses from the late 1920s to 1960s and all doctoral theses from 1980s to the present. All paper dissertations have been digitized, and the electronic version of dissertations is provided for readers of the whole school to read.

Information on "Fisheries Protection and Transportation"

In 1970s, a group of overseas students from Chinese mainland, Taiwan Province Province and Hongkong launched a patriotic movement centered on "defending Diaoyu Island", which lasted for ten years. It was donated by people who participated in the fishing protection movement that year. These historical materials truly record and reflect this period of history.

Cohen library

The library has collected more than 265,438+0,000 private books donated by Robert Cohen, a professor at Boston University and a master of philosophy of science. It includes 250 volumes of Boston Studies in philosophy of science, the Vienna Circle collection and 350 volumes of comprehensive libraries since its publication, as well as books and periodicals in the fields of philosophy, social sciences, Marxist studies, art and architecture.

Boer literature room

Niels henrik david bohr is a famous Danish physicist and the winner of the Nobel Prize in Physics. He is the father of atomic structure theory and the founder of Copenhagen School. Because his theory has been proved by history to be the starting point of modern atomic theory and quantum mechanics, it is recognized as one of the great figures who kept pace with Einstein in the 20th century. Tsinghua alumnus Mr. Gog is the author of 12 niles? As an independent Chinese translator of Bohr's collected works, she was awarded "Knight of Danish Flag" by Queen Margrethe II of Denmark. Many precious documents, photos and articles displayed in the literature room have been collected and sorted by Mr. Ge Ge for decades, and are also treasures of China and even Asia. Two years after his death, in July 2009, his daughter, Jiang Ge, donated all of it to the Tsinghua University Library and established the Bohr Literature Room.
