The East Campus has seven colleges, including School of Mechanical and Electronic Engineering, School of Resources and Environment, School of Information Science and Engineering, School of Chemistry and Materials Science, College of Arts and Sciences, School of Foreign Languages, and School of Water Conservancy and Civil Engineering, with 29 majors, which mainly undertake the education and training of first-year students, with more than 3,000 students.

The East Campus has excellent educational resources and school-running conditions. The campus covers an area of 558 mu, of which the campus covers an area of 200 mu, the practice base covers an area of 358 mu, and the building area of the school building is nearly 90,000 square meters.
The East Campus Library is one of the three major libraries in the school, equipped with an electronic reading room, which can be shared with the school10.9 million books. There are more than 30 laboratories in each major, with advanced teaching instruments and equipment, which can well meet the needs of first-year college teaching.
The East Campus was established in early 2007.
