China ancient encyclopedia refers to which book?
Yongle Dadian is the largest encyclopedia in ancient China. The contents of Yongle Dadian include classics, history, poetry, book collection, astronomy and geography, Yin and Yang medicine, divination, interpretation of Tibetan scriptures, drama, science and technology, agriculture and so on, covering thousands of years of intellectual wealth of the Chinese nation.

After the compilation of Yongle Dadian was completed in Yongle period, only one copy was copied, which was called Yongle Original. When I arrived in Jiajing Dynasty, I was afraid that the ceremony would be damaged, and I re-recorded a copy called Jiajing Copy.

Because these two ceremonies were hidden in the palace, they were not published and rarely circulated. Stolen, robbed and burned during the regime change and internal troubles and foreign invasion, the "original edition" disappeared, leaving only more than 400 copies.

During the 600 years from compilation to destruction, Yongle Dadian left many legends and eternal mysteries. "Yongle Dadian" was compiled and put in the East Pavilion of Nanjing Wen Yuan Pavilion.

In the 19th year of Yongle (142 1), Ming Chengzu moved to the capital and chose some books to bring to the new capital. During the orthodox period, Yongle Grand Ceremony was officially placed in Wenlou.

Encyclopedia Britannica called China's Ming Dynasty book Yongle Dadian "the largest encyclopedia in world history". It has become an important symbol of China culture.
