Grandpa said that our hometown used to be very poor, and every family lived in a humble hut and lived a hungry life. Every night, there are no lights everywhere, only a few huts emit a few dim kerosene lamps. Several muddy paths, it takes dozens of miles to find shops in the city, and the economy is depressed.

However, now our hometown is developing very rapidly, and the simple straw houses and bungalows in the past have become red brick and green tile houses and high-rise buildings. The uneven dirt road has become a flat road, and the rural cement road extending in all directions can lead you to every small village; The streets are no longer sparsely populated. In the center of my hometown, a new pedestrian street has been built, which is bustling and bustling. The supermarkets and other shops on the street dazzle you ... In addition, many characteristic industries have emerged in my hometown, such as Tanggou wine, crispy and delicious shallow water lotus and nutritious yam. All this makes my hometown look brand-new and prosperous and beautiful.

With the motherland's reform and opening up for 30 years, the teaching in our hometown has also made great progress. I have experienced this personally. According to the teacher of the school, in the past, the facilities of the school were very simple, with several broken classrooms, several mud tables and several stools. Many families could not go to school because of economic problems.

At present, the state attaches great importance to teaching and builds new schools, which are well-equipped and have wide playgrounds, libraries and multimedia rooms.
