Listening is a Japanese animated film produced by Studio Ghibli, directed by Ghibli, written by Miyazaki Hayao and Aoi sora and starring Honna Yōko, Keiju Kobayashi, Gao Shannan and Issei Takahashi. July 1995 was released in Japan. This cartoon, based on Hiiragi Aoi's cartoon of the same name, tells a pure, sincere and touching love story of Tsukishima Shizuku and Amasawa Seiji, who are in the third grade in Tama near Tokyo 1994, encouraging each other to learn from each other and fighting for their respective ideals.
Plot introduction
Yuedao Yong is a cheerful girl who loves literature. She has been borrowing books from the school library and the city library. One day, she noticed the name Amasawa Seiji from the library registration card, and all the books she borrowed, Tianze, must have been borrowed and read. Moon Island became curious about this stranger who didn't know his appearance and age. Yuedao is about to graduate, but she has no clear plan for her future.
During the summer vacation, Moon Island met a teenager. After graduating from high school, this teenager will go to Italy to study violin playing. His name is Amasawa Seiji. Moon Island, who is not sure about her talents and future path, is hesitant. When she approached Tianze, she decided not to stop and watch, but to walk side by side with the person she liked. Tian invited Moon Island, who was about to leave, to come to the hill under sunrise to confess to her, and Moon Island smiled and nodded.
