Children's social science books recommendation
There is a difference between social science and humanities. Social sciences mainly refer to law, economics, politics, sociology and demography, while humanities mainly refer to philosophy, literature, art and religion. To improve humanistic quality, we should study both humanities and social sciences. But social studies are not as interesting as humanities, such as economics, which involves advanced mathematics.

Classical books on humanities: Philosophy includes A Brief History of Chinese Philosophy (Feng Youlan), The Complete Works of Aristotle, and Ethics by Nikolai. Art categories include Analysis of Beauty (Huo Jiasi), History of Western Music, History of Western Art and Biography of Bach (Long Fang). Religion mainly reads the Bible. Literature mainly includes four books and five classics, a subset of classics and history, Sikuquanshu, Yongle Grand Ceremony, twenty-four histories, Tang poetry and Song ci.

Classic works of social sciences: Law includes On the Spirit of Law (Montesquieu), On Crime and Punishment (Beccaria), History of Legal Thought in China and History of Western Legal Thought.

Political categories include government theory (Locke), social contract theory (Rousseau), state theory (Aristotle) and Producer's Manifesto.

The economic category includes The Wealth of Nations, The Theory of Moral Sentiments (Adam Smith), Das Kapital and Demography.
