Zhejiang University Library is one of the oldest university libraries in China. Its predecessor was Qiushi College Library, which was founded in 1897.

1September 1998, the former Zhejiang University merged with Hangzhou University, Zhejiang Agricultural University and Zhejiang Medical University, and the libraries of the four universities were also merged into the new Zhejiang University Library.

June 5438 +2009 10, Zhejiang University Library, Network and Information Center merged to form Zhejiang University Library and Information Center.
