In May 2007, GG Bond became the special mascot of Guangzhou Youth Foundation.

In June 2007, GG Bond won the Golden Dragon Award with two best nominations: Best Creative Animation and Best Animation Book.

In 2007, "GG Bond Martial Arts 2008" premiered on CCTV Children's Channel, becoming the first full 3D cartoon in Guangzhou to land on CCTV.
