First stop: Gansu Provincial Museum

The largest museum in Gansu Province is rich in cultural relics and is a must-see place to experience the Silk Road. The Buddhist Museum shows the different Buddhist cultures of Han, Tibetan and Western Regions, as well as the grotto art in Dunhuang and Tianshui, which is also very wonderful. The bronze statue of Mata Yan Fei and the brick painted by the post station are rare national treasures in the museum.

Second stop: Dazhong Lane

The museum is some distance from the city center. After the noon visit, we went back to Dazhong Lane in the center of the city. There are many time-honored brands that are well-known in Lanzhou, such as Mazilu Beef Noodles, Grey Bean King and Jincheng Fried Noodles.

Third stop: Xiguan Mosque

The Xiguan Mosque, built in the Ming Dynasty, has a distinctive Arab Islamic style. Visitors can visit the temple, but non-Muslim tourists are not allowed to enter the worship hall.

Fourth stop: Baiyun Temple

Taoist temples along the Yellow River are full of strong Taoist culture and very quiet. On the ninth day of the first lunar month, Jade Emperor's Christmas Day, February 15 Laojun's Christmas Day, Tomb-Sweeping Day, July 15 Mid-Autumn Festival, and 10/Sunday Temple Fair. There is a grand activity of chanting, praying and crossing over in the temple.

Fifth stop: Zhongshan Bridge

The landmark building in Lanzhou is also the first modern steel structure bridge on the Yellow River. German design and manufacture in the late Qing Dynasty. Walking on the iron bridge, there is flowing Yellow River water below, Binhe Road to the south of the iron bridge and the famous Baita Mountain to the north.

Sixth stop: Baitashan Park

Climbing Baita Mountain can overlook the panoramic view of Lanzhou city, and the scenery on both sides of the Yellow River is unobstructed. Baita Mountain is the oldest, and there is a White Pagoda on the top of it. There are many palace-style buildings and many trees planted on the mountain, creating a rare tree-lined environment in the northwest.

Seventh stop: Lanzhou Yellow River Cruise

Take a cruise on the Yellow River, and there are famous scenic spots in Lanzhou such as Zhongshan Bridge and Baita Mountain on both sides. If it is night, you can also feel the bright night view of Lanzhou on the boat. Eighth stop: Zhengning Road Snacks Night Market

Come here in the evening to taste the delicious local snacks. The night market occupies a whole street. Barbecue, milk and egg paste, mutton offal soup, etc. They are all snacks with local characteristics.
